Sydney is not the Outback. It’s not the bush. It’s a big city with a ton of suburbs. It’s urban. And yet in the front lawn of almost every home here, there’s a HUGE spider who has taken up permanent residence. These are the types of things that would send the average European running in the other direction. The locals just don’t even notice them.
“They won’t harm you,” they say. ”They eat the mosquitos,” they say. You know… a Daddy Long Legs can eat the mosquitos. These things might well eat cats.
