We wouldn't have gotten much further on this.
It finally happened. One of our tires were so bald that we chose, out of our own free will, to go to the tire store. So yesterday we went down to the tire shop (not Tyrepower because they suck) and got two all-terrain tires. We were using mud and sand tires which aren’t very good for the road. So we slapped those on the front and still have two mud and sand tires on the back.
This morning one of the old tires on the back apparently decided to go on strike on behalf of his friends and went flat. So today we have to go to a tire shop and get it fixed. Sigh. -jp
Biggie’s neue Schuhe!
Nach all den tausenden Kilometern, die wir mittlerweile hinter uns gebracht haben, war einer unserer Hinterreifen so glatt, dass wir ernsthaft neue kaufen mussten. Da man ja immer zwei gleiche Reifen nebeneinander fahren soll, mussten gleich zwei gekauft werden. Vorher hatten wir vier Schlamm und Sand Reifen (vom Vorbesitzer), doch nun haben wir uns für all-terrain Reifen entschieden, die man sowohl auf Sand und auf Straße fahren kann, aber wohl 70% Straße, was wir eh öfters machen.
Ich hab Justin dann gefragt warum ich niemals so teure Schuhe bekomme, dann meinte er nur, ob ich uns mit unserem ganzes Gepäck einmal um Australien herum tragen möchte – hm, da hab ich nix mehr gesagt
