A fleeting glimpse at a majestic Humpback whale
First of all, if you’ve never been whale watching before, I’d just like you to know: It’s frikkin’ hard to take pictures of whales from a small boat in choppy seas. The boat was rocking so much that my auto-focus couldn’t keep up. This means the gallery is a little sparse. And we saw a couple of whales breeching but every photo is blurry.
The good news is, that’s an excuse to go on another whale watching trip. They say “practice makes perfect” so… where’s the boat? Let’s go again. -jp
Whale watching – auf deutsch, hm Wale anschauen oder so. Ja, es ist schon atemberaubend, wenn man so ein riesen Tier im Wasser rumschwimmen sieht und wenn es dann auch noch rausspringt und solche netten Dinge macht, dann ist man einfach nur noch “uh, uhhhh – cool!!!!” Es war toll, einfach toll!
Wir haben auch versucht, das in Fotos festzuhalten, was sich beim anschauen der Fotos rausgestellt hat, gar nicht so einfach ist. Naja, ein Grund mehr bald wieder auf eine Whale Watching Tour zu gehen. -mk
