Weihnachten – Schnee, -5 Grad, vereiste Straßen – hm, das können wir hier nicht bieten, weshalb die Weihnachtsstimmung gerade bei mir auch im Keller ist. Aber ich will gar nicht jammern…
Deshalb, wir wünschen allen Lieben zu Hause oder sonst irgendwo auf der Welt ein BESINNLICHES WEIHNACHTSFEST!! Laßt Euch reich beschenken und wir denken ganz fest an Euch. -mk
Some people might say there’s no feeling of Christmas when it’s 30C (86F). People like Monique and the other Germans that usually have -5C, icy streets, slushy snow, and clothes-piercing wind. And they’re right. Because the Germans also have great Christmas markets, real trees, Glühwein, fresh snow, and big heavy jackets like Santa’s. People there take their Christmas far more seriously than here. They still have the ridiculous commercialism and other stuff that everyone else has but at least it’s covered by the traditional Christmas flair.
So have a merry Christmas and if you’re in Germany then enjoy the spirit because there’s no Christmas spirit like it anywhere else in the world! -jp
