As promised here is the view from our hotel. It’s a night shot. Night shots are good because you can’t see the smog.

From across the Elbe
29 12 2008They call Dresden “Florence on the Elbe” but I have no idea why. It’s much nicer than Florence. It’s more picturesque, the people are friendlier, and it’s cheaper. It’s also easier to find parking.
If they improved the food a bit then I’d never need to go to Italy again.
